AI Visibility Audit · Delivered in 72 Hours

Ask ChatGPT Who the Best One in Town Is. See If It Says You.

Customers have started asking AI instead of scrolling Google. If your business isn't in the answer, you're not losing the job to a better company — you're losing it to one the machine could actually read. The AI Visibility Audit tells you exactly where you stand and exactly why.

Included with every site takeover. On its own: plain-English PDF in 72 hours, $1,250 credited in full toward the fixes. No retainer, no contract.

"Ranking #1 on Google and being invisible in ChatGPT are not a contradiction. They're two different scoreboards."

— Ken McGonigal, Gentoolink Web Services, Vanderhoof

"You get the report whether or not you ever hire me to fix any of it."

— The condition every audit is sold under

Your Google ranking says nothing about whether AI can find you.

These are two different systems reading two different things. Google ranks pages on backlinks, content relevance and how people behave in the results. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews work from structured data, Bing's index, whether your business details agree with each other across the web, and whether your pages answer questions in a form a machine can lift.

A business can sit at the top of Google and be completely absent from the AI answer. It happens constantly, and the owner never finds out — there's no ranking report for this, no notification, nothing in Search Console. The first sign is quieter phones with no explanation attached.

According to SOCi's 2026 Local Visibility Index, ChatGPT recommended only 1.2% of the roughly 350,000 US business locations it checked. That number isn't a warning about the future. It's the current hit rate, and most of the businesses in the other 98.8% have never checked.

What's your AI visibility score?

Three questions about things you either know or you don't. Your score is worked out from those answers and shown with the arithmetic — nothing gets scanned, nothing gets guessed, and you don't have to give me your email to see it.

1 Is your website indexed by Bing?

ChatGPT's search draws on Bing's index as well as OpenAI's own crawler. If Bing doesn't have your site, you're missing one of the main routes into ChatGPT's answers, no matter how well you rank on Google. It's weighted the most here because it's one of the most common gaps and one of the easiest to close.

2 Is your Google Business Profile claimed and current?

Hours, categories, and services on a verified profile are among the most reliable facts an assistant can pick up about a local business — and one of the few you control directly.

3 Does your site have structured data describing your business?

JSON-LD markup stating who you are, where you work, and what you sell. It isn't a requirement for appearing in AI answers — Google is clear about that — but it removes the guesswork, and it keeps you eligible for the search features that still exist.

The AI Visibility Audit

Three ways to get it. A shorter version, the AI Visibility Baseline, comes with every new build and site takeover, checked at the start and again about 60 days later so you can see what changed. The full audit is repeated every quarter on AI Visibility Maintenance. Or buy the full audit on its own, below, if you're outside my area or not ready for a plan.

No one can guarantee you'll show up in ChatGPT. Not me, and not anyone else who's being straight with you. Google, Bing, OpenAI, and Perplexity each decide for themselves which businesses to show and name, and they change how they decide. Google's own documentation says a correctly built, indexed page still isn't guaranteed a place in its AI answers. What does raise your chances is a site coded so search engines and AI tools can read it, registered with both Google and Bing, and a Google profile that matches it. That part I can make sure of.

On its own: $1,250 — delivered in 72 hours

Here's what gets checked:

AI Platform Visibility

  • Does your business appear in ChatGPT when someone searches your category and city?
  • Does Perplexity recommend you?
  • Are you showing up in Google AI Overviews?

Technical Foundation

  • Is your website indexed by Bing? (Bing's index is one of the sources ChatGPT search draws on — most businesses never check this)
  • Is OAI-SearchBot, OpenAI's own crawler, allowed in your robots.txt?
  • Do you have structured data / JSON-LD schema? Is it valid?
  • Does your site pass Google's Rich Results Test?

Business Presence

  • Is your Google Business Profile fully optimized for AI citation?
  • Are your name, address, and phone number consistent across the web?

Competitive Intelligence

  • Who IS showing up in your category, and why?
  • What are they doing that you're not?

Your Report

A plain-English PDF with your current AI visibility score, a competitor comparison, and a prioritized list of exactly what to fix — in order of impact. Specific enough that your existing web person can work from it without calling me.

Start My Audit — $1,250

The $1,250 is credited in full toward any implementation work. If you move forward, the audit is effectively free.

Three steps. 72 hours.

1

You sign up and tell me about your business

Takes about 2 minutes. I just need your website, business category, and city.

2

I run a full AI visibility check

I test your business across every major AI platform, audit your technical setup, and compare you to your top local competitors.

3

You get a clear, actionable report

No jargon. No vague recommendations. Just a ranked list of what's holding you back and how to fix it.

What owners ask before ordering.

"We're #1 on Google already. Doesn't that cover it?"

Not entirely. Google says its AI features rest on the same foundations as regular search, so a strong Google ranking is a good start. But ChatGPT's search draws on Bing's index and OpenAI's own crawler rather than Google's, and an AI answer names two or three businesses instead of ten. Ranking first on Google and going unnamed in ChatGPT can happen at the same time. The audit checks whether it's happening to you.

"Can't I just check this myself?"

You can, and you should — open ChatGPT and ask for the best business in your category and town. That tells you whether there's a problem. What it doesn't tell you is why, or which of the half-dozen possible causes is yours, or which one to fix first. That's the part that takes the audit.

"Isn't this a bit early? Nobody's buying through ChatGPT yet."

Nobody was buying through Google in 1999 either. The businesses that are cited today are the ones whose sites happened to be readable when the platforms started reading — and the fixes take days, not years. If you'd rather wait, wait. Just don't wait until your competitor is the one being named.

"Can you guarantee we'll show up in ChatGPT?"

No, and be wary of anyone who says they can. Google, Bing, OpenAI, and Perplexity each decide for themselves which businesses to name, and none of them promises a spot to anyone. What I can do is make sure nothing is holding you back: a site coded so machines can read it, registered with Google and Bing, and a Google profile that matches it. That genuinely improves your chances. It's not a promise, and I won't sell it as one.

"What if the audit says everything's fine?"

Then you've spent $1,250 to find out your foundation is solid, and I'll tell you so plainly rather than inventing work. That's the honest risk of buying an audit from anyone. What I can promise is that the report says what it found, not what would be convenient for me to sell you next.

"Do I have to hire you for the fixes?"

No. The report is yours, and it's written specifically enough that your existing web person can work from it. If you do want me to implement it, that's the $3,500 AI Search Foundation Package and the $1,250 audit fee comes off the price. There's no retainer attached to the audit.

"We don't really have a website worth auditing."

Then don't buy this yet. The audit assumes there's a site to make visible. If yours is half-finished or stuck on a platform nobody can log into, start with a build instead — from $3,500, with the structured data already in place, so it's readable on launch day and never needs this audit in the first place.
